Testimonials
PEAC is the community of understanding for what is painfully not understandable. Within the ministry you find you are not alone, that we have relatable shared journeys in common. A safe place to grieve, hope and stand in strength. PEAC is together.

Every meeting I have attended has given me a little peace, gratitude and a reminder to choose joy in my life while my family carries the cross of estrangement. The monthly meetings remind me that I am not alone. I continue to work on growing my faith, practicing gratitude and offering my child an olive branch. You have provided so much incredible information; from books, support groups, podcasts, and bible verses to support parents enduring this pain. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU! :)
Hearing from other PEAC parents has helped us to understand this true generational gap. It has given us hope, enlightenment and strength to carry on peacefully and patiently. Thank you again for being there!

I can't say enough of how great and supportive PEAC is! Post covid and navigating "zoom" has been a challenge at times but connecting with people from all over the world who share the commonality of estrangement has been such a support. I am not alone! After 14 years in & out (mostly out!)of estrangement with my son, I have re-established a relationship. With constant reinforcement of my love for him, "have a good day," etc, without expectations; we have re-connected. Patience, time AND sharing with others has been so helpful! Thank you Aimee & PEAC.

I found PEAC at a time when I expected it least and needed it most. My son had estranged from me months before, and I felt bereft and alone. And then somehow, luckily, I found PEAC. Attending the meetings has helped me to feel comforted, provided ideas for holding onto hope, and let me see firsthand what an epidemic estrangement is. Aimee is an excellent facilitator, and each meeting is well-run and starts and ends on time. I always feel better after seeing the faces of other parents flash across the computer screen who understand and emphasize.

I have been struggling with adult child estrangement for the past five years. Feeling alone and ashamed I did some research to try to find some support and I got lucky and found PEAC. Both Aimee Palmer and all the other caring individuals who have supported each other have blessed me in so many ways. I have found strength and courage and compassion and unity throughout this ordeal. They have shared so many valuable resources. I look forward to the monthly meetings and the articles they have shared

Being new to the club of estranged/strained relationships, PEAC provided me with excellent resources to continue the grief process and begin healing. The resources, media and blog tabs had very helpful books and podcasts that ministered to my soul. They helped me to not feel alone and to realize that many parents are in the same position I am. They gave helpful suggestions for how to process through this difficult part of life
